2 for 2

Ok so you remember back on 3/23 I saw an accident. Recap went shooting coming back tire does a kaboom. Waiting for tow truck a pickup rear ends car stopped at light.
Today on the way over to a friends house to go do some shooting a smaller SUV comes flying down the off ramp at 101 and Camelback tires squealing. I see this and hit the breaks quickly check the mirrors, nobody behind me. Look back to the path the vehicle was going, view is blocked by a semi stopped at the light. Then I see the SUV slam into the trailer at the exact place that the fuel tank is for the refer unit. That thing was at least 3/4 full. So all this fuel is dumping onto the road in front of me. The guy in front of me is stopped. I don't want to be on this side of the truck with all that fuel flowing accross the road. Check the mirrors again still clear go around the truck in front of me and get stuck at the light. Now I'm hearing tires spinning, the guy in the SUV has put it into reverse and is on the gas. This guy is going to kill someone. I really want to de-ass the area. This guy has little control of the vehicle now at least 1 blown front tire. He managed to get into the landscape area next to a gym and was doing doughnuts when the light went green. Several people had gotten out of their vehicles including semi driver who was on a cell phone. Are you people freakin nuts. He's got a ton of steel that he's throwing around with reckless abandon. I've got maybe an ounce and a half of lead on my hip, that is a no win situation.

I've done that good samaritan thing where you wait around for an hour or 2 til the popo takes your statement. The gal that had stopped behind me last time I did that had her rear window shattered by debris from some asshat doing 70 through an accident scene. Not doing that again, as no good deed ever goes unpunished.

Other than that shooting was good. None of us where on. The rifle I was using is close to being on target but it's not perfect. We where trying to hit targets that are 1" in diameter makes it very difficult.

The loin cloth for those of you who knew about it was fantastic. The reaction was priceless.

  1. It's too hot to be standing around waiting for the police to take your statement, anyway. AND, you had places to go, high explosives to ignite. I've heard a liberal application of such solves problems.

Glad the loin cloth was a hit. When needed, Rachael can make stripper pants to cover it.

Too much excitement for me. I like my quiet little town.
