And so it begins

Moved some stuff this morning. I find it interesting the stuff that disappears every time I visit the new place. Had to have the toilet and tub replaced. The old tub in 5 different pieces disappeared the first day. The tank for the toilet took 2 weeks to disappear. However it only took 7 days for some type of shelf to appear. Every day I stop by there is more trash in the yard.

The first weekend I started working on the new place the green barrel disappeared ( that would be the non-recycle trash container) when I went to lunch. It is a Hispanic neighborhood and no I'm not prejudice. So I'm thinking this is going to be a fun hood to live in ;-).

Looks like at least 5 houses for sale on the block.

  1. Wish you would've moved into our neighborhood!

  2. Maybe the next move. If all goes according to plan I'll be moving again in 2 years. Couldn't find any houses that fit the parameters.

  3. They sucked you in too? How did this happen?!

  4. I've had the toilet bowl sitting next to my trash can since Christmas. Wonder why nobody wants that? The tank shattered in the drop from the deck.

Jazz fest this weekend in Sitka. You should stop by.

  5. Is it like a game? Somebody takes something from you, but leaves something else? Could be interesting.

  6. Kind of like Geo caching, but without the coordinates?

  7. It's like a black hole not even light can escape. I should log in more often. I think I missed the blue barrel pickup this morning. The can and contents still at the house when I got home.
